Hello singers, and welcome to my website!

My name is Katja Chevallier, I am a professional voice teacher, singer-songwriter and musical theatre performer, based in Val d’Europe (France).

Through my training in musical theatre (Randolph College for the Performing Arts), my M.A in musicology (Université de Montréal), my years of professional performing experience, and my personalized and insightful approach to learning, I believe I am an ideal teacher for singers who wish to understand their voice, and gain control of their instrument.

My goal as a teacher is to help you reach your full vocal potential by discovering and understanding your voice. Passionate about the voice myself, I am a firm believer that vocal freedom and power comes with knowledge. That’s why it’s important to me not only to teach vocal technique, but also give notions of vocal and physical physiology. The voice being the only instrument we can’t see and touch, singers have to find a way to master their instrument through other means, and I believe that understanding our voice is the key!

From beginners to advanced singers, amateurs to professionals
and singer-songwriters: all are welcome in my studio! *Ages 14 and up. 

Take your lesson in French or English! I am fully fluent in both languages and I’ll be happy to teach you in the language of your choosing.
